Named for a California flower that smells like rotten fish, Addertongue is, like its namesake, not exactly what it seems.

It’s a band…sort of, but the collaborators rarely meet. It takes its inspirations from the 1960s and 1970s, but doesn’t try to directly mimic the past. It has soaring moments of melody as quickly as it heads into trippy, experimental territory. Because the personnel changes with each release, album will have a slightly different angle and vibe.

However, Addertongue is consistent in its exploration of its members’ dreams, visions, and imaginations, and wherever that might lead is where Addertongue will go.
